Our last post was all about Hyundai's big reveal at the recent New York Auto Show, but the automaker's debuts weren't limited to stateside. The busy bees unveiled another new Hyundai at the 2013 Seoul Motor Show that same week. Though the globetrotting brand is obviously tough to keep up with, we managed to get a peek at the HND-9 coupe concept.

Some highlights of the new Hyundai concept car include:

  • Sleek and Futuristic Styling: The HND-9's smooth surface, ample body ratios, chiseled structure, and a wide, hexagonal radiator grille give the model a recognizable sporty shape. Its futuristic vibes are accentuated by butterfly doors and sculptural rear combination lamps.
  • Lavish Interior: Matching the modern flair of the exterior, the Hyundai features seats made of an unique mesh material which reflects different colors depending on the angle you look at them. The cabin is actually designed to replicate a jet fighter cockpit, so drivers can feel like they're truly flying down the highway.
  • Thrilling Powertrain: Skyrocketing to a destination is easy with the HND-9's turbocharged direct-injected 3.3-liter V-6 engine, which pumps out 362 horsepower.

The Hyundai's sophisticated details and premium materials are just the icing on this top performing car. Fortunately, we may be looking at the next Genesis. Hyundai hasn't officially verified this but we will continue to update you on the HND-9 via our blog.

We hope to see the developed HND-9 in showrooms like ours at 1512 Broadway in Nashville, TN in the near future. However, we are more than happy with the many performance-driven new Hyundai models available at Downtown Hyundai.  This includes the current Genesis, which offers smooth, powerful engines and a luxurious cabin so you can ride in comfort and style.
